In a 24-hour comparison, 681 new corona infections were reported in Austria – 305 of which were in Vienna.
Vienna. So far, 39,984 positive test results have been reported in Austria. As of today (September 23, 2020, 09:30 a.m.), 777 people throughout Austria have died as a result of the corona virus and 30,949 have recovered. At present, 413 people are undergoing hospital treatment due to the corona virus and 77 of these patients are in intensive care units.
The new infections since the last notification are divided among the provinces of Austria as follows:
Burgenland: 33
Carinthia: 19
Lower Austria: 100
Upper Austria: 92
Salzburg: 11
Styria: 30
Tyrol: 66
Vorarlberg: 25
Vienna: 305
